Using my +plus leads powerful mapping tool you can easily import any data file that is in a .CSV file format. If your file is currently a text (.txt) or Excel (.xlsx) file, please visit our conversion page for help getting them into a .CSV format.
In-order to process records the ADDRESS and ZIP codes are required. However, for data accuracy you can map the following fields from your .CSV file to the +plus system:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Street Address
- City
- State
- Zip Code
Create a Custom Mapping
Add a new Custom Mapping by clicking on "Data Append -> Custom Mappings"
Upload the File for Mapping
Click "Add Mapping" in the bottom-left corner of the interface.
Map the File
In-order to map the file to the +plus system, you will point the proper column header to the First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, and Zip. First you will click "Add Item" from the Mapping Edit page.
- Choose the data parameter you want to place data into for the +plus system in the "To" drop-down
- Choose the column header you are mapping from in your file in the "From" drop-down
- Click "Save"
Continue to use "Add Item" until you have all of the available fields mapped between your file and the system.
My File Does Not Have Headers
This is no problem, our system can "map" files without headers.
- On "Upload" of the file to be mapped, do not check the "Has Header" file.
- When using the "Add Item" function, use the Column Letter in Excel as the "From" map column.
My Address is in Multiple Fields
Many files have the address in separate fields, such as the street number, street name, and street type. The +plus system can join or "concatenate" these fields together before performing the augmentation.
